Pickmere have been super excited about writing their final drafts of their buddy letters. These are now all sealed in envelopes and ready to be sent to their buddies. They have all been so thoughtful in coming up with ways in which they can help them settle into school life come September!
Pickmere have been feeling very sleepy after last weeks residential. Despite this, they have all tried their hardest to keep going each and every day this week. At the start of the week preparations were in full swing for their class collective worship. They all spoke with such clarity and confidence on Wednesday morning and we are so proud of them all. Their new literacy topic is ‘The Lost Adventure’. They spent Wednesday morning up in the forest area gathering inspiration. It was great to see the newly learnt survival techniques come through from their residential. We can’t wait to see the information texts they produce during this topic.
Next week is STEM week in school and the children are all very excited about the activities, workshops and talks that are lined up for them.
Have a wonderful weekend one and all,
Miss Wild, Miss Shepherd and Mrs Law
