Diamond cricket is similar to normal cricket, however, there are four sets of stumps arranged in a diamond formation and there are four batters batting at the same time. The bowler will bowl to a batter and if the batter hits the ball, then all the batters run anti-clockwise. The batters score runs by running to the stumps. Batters can get dismissed if a fielder catches the ball or hits the stumps when a batter is not present. Diamond cricket is a fast-paced game and is perfect to play in smaller areas.

As you can tell, it was a tricky game for Pickmere to get their heads around but they soon fell in love with it. The cheers for their peers were loud and proud as they batted balls for miles, caught each other out and had lots and lots of fun!
